This is a crazy market now for buyers, sellers, and Realtors. We need to remember to focus on what we can control, and to keep ourselves moving forward.

It may take longer for sellers to sell, and prices may be lower than you'd like, but keep the house clean and ready for showings every day. Hang in there! It's taking an average of 2 1/2 months of marketing time across the Houston MLS, and the most recent average sales price shows 93% of list price.

Buyers will come up against obstacles for financing, appraisals, and underwriting. Provide the data and take a deep breath. Don't give up!

Where there's a will, there's a way. Real estate is cyclical and we will get through this rough patch if we do not stop.
