The Houston food bank stands to receive 1 million dollars if they win the contest. Through its “Fighting Hunger Together” campaign, Wal-Mart pledges $1.5 million to six communities where families are struggle to feed themselves. It’s asking the public to decide where the money will go through a contest on Facebook.

To participate, all you have to do is log on to your Facebook account and “like” the City of Houston’s fighting hunger page.
