Common Sense Flood Clean Up Safety Tips - Houston STRONG!

September 3rd, 2017

Common Sense Safety Tips:

1. Make sure structure is safe & electrical is off. Turn off electrical at the breaker box to make sure.

2. Contact insurance company. Access damage. Take photos

3. Put your armor on. Rubber boots, rubbers gloves & goggles. Sewage and chemicals and no telling what else is in the flooded waters.  Remove flooded items & get rid of any standing water as soon as possible because mold can start growing between 24 to 48 hours.

4. Secure property until insurance agent or FEMA arrives to access the damage.

Or call someone who specializes in storm clean up. Check out if the company is reputiable.

Please call me if there is anything thing I can do to assist to list your house or find you a new one.
