How do you sell a home in a day? Yes, you would have thought that we were in California with as quickly as homes in Brookwood are selling.  I placed the listing above online and the first family who saw it - came in with an offer!

How do you sell quickly? 
1.  Present the home at it's best the first day. Don't leave little signs or notes that say "this will be updated".  Odds are no one is going to come back to see if you really followed through.
2.  Declutter and depersonalize.  In essence either prepare for a garage sale, or prepare to pack.  Less is more - you want to show off your space.
3.  (this needs to be done before you even think of selling).  Maintain your home.  It is sometimes quite obvious when you walk in a home whether it has been lovingly maintained or just spruced up for selling.
4.  Connect with a Realtor that is dedicated to showing your home at it's best (this means no photos with an ironing board up online), who knows the market,  and is willing to be honest
5.  Listen to your Realtor
