The news of the "proposed" budget and the impact on Johnson Space Center and its contractors is the topic of much conversation in Houston and especially the Clear Lake Area.  While there is a sense of shock, frustration and  "what can I do?", a simple technology tool would be to join the Facebook's "Save NASA's Constellation and Manned Space Flight Program" page in support (I did not start this page but have joined) http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=434969540283&ref=nf&v=info#!/group.php?v=info&ref=nf&gid=434969540283

What will this do?  Hard to say, but the page does list the names and addresses of representatives you may wish to write. Other posts include phone numbers; I'm sure someone will eventually post useful emails.

So take a small step and let Congress and others know how you feel.  If anything it will show our friends and neighbors here in Clear Lake that we value them.
