The BIGGEST LAND GRAB IN TEXAS!! There were over 400 Harris County residents in attendance last night at the HSR meeting, person after person spoke about the noise, the lights, the environmental impact on the watershed... The bad deal that was brokered for Texans. If you support private property rights at all, this is the time to SPEAK UP!! If you live in Blackhorse, Stonegate, Jersey Village, or if you kid goes to Cy-Falls this train will back up to your neighborhood. It'll have a huge impact on your property values. Person after person stood up, their farm that has been in the family for generations is being taken by eminent domain. If we don't stand together, Japan will prevail. Sounds crazy to hear that Texans will lose their land to foreigners but if they can do it to Texas, they'll run this train right up to Chicago and take all the land in between. For a $20 billion project they've only raised $300 million and they're asking for Federal money so this is at our expense. If you know Greg Abbott, Senator Ted Cruz, Ed Emmett or Michael Berry PLEASE reach out and tell them how this will be harmful for Houston. If you like sitting in traffic, better get a book because this will jack up access to 290 for another 15 years. Call your State Rep!
