I would highly recommend the Katie K Team of Remax Northwest, in north Houston, Texas for any real estate needs. We recently used the Katie K Team to sell our home and had an outstanding experience. We first found Katie through Dave Ramsey’s referral program. After interviewing six other agents, many of them also referred by Dave Ramsey, we decided to use Katie.... We felt that her values strongly echoed ours because of that referral. Her team’s professionalism and motivation really impressed us right from the beginning. Every phone call was returned promptly, and the initial inspection of our home was quickly conducted. Katie gave us a realistic expectation of the market for our area - not an overblown price estimate. We were considering listing our home for sale, for lease, or for short sale, and Katie seemed very knowledgeable about all three procedures and presented the pros and cons for all three.
Based on our personal financial situation, we decided to seek approval for a short sale, and Katie listed our home within the week. Based on her presentation of the home, online listing presence, and price point, we had an offer that next Monday for the price we were seeking. Katie’s team immediately took proactive measures to send all special documentation to our lender. Throughout the entire process, Katie’s team communicated with our lender and with us, collecting and filing all necessary documentation. Many short sales become lengthy and complicated because of the extra paperwork, but Katie’s team was ready from day one.
Within three months of listing with the Katie K Team, we were able to close with the buyer. Thanks to her attention to detail, personal attention, and follow through on all requirements, the process went smoothly for all parties involved. Katie’s team kept our case at the top of our lender’s priority list, thanks to daily and weekly calls and emails checking to see if any new documents were needed. She also kept the buyer’s agent involved, helping to ease the strain of waiting through the approval process.
Katie’s personal energy and fire show in everything she does. From our initial contact until the very end, she stayed just as involved and motivated to sell our property. Every call or email was always promptly answered with all questions answered. Most of the time we never even had to email her – an update was already waiting for us to read! Since we are out of state, she even kept an eye on the house for us, which provided great peace of mind.
