There is a new mortgage program which features low interest loans with closing costs and downpayment assistance available to eligible first time home buyers for the purchase of a residence within the corporate limits of the City of Houston.
This program complements the standard Houston Downpayment Assistance Program which allows you to qualify for higher household incomes.
Interest Rates
3.40% Fixed Interest Rate Mortgage
With 5% downpayment assistance
Issuer reserves the right to change program mortage rates higher or lower as conditions warrant.
Mortgages
Fixed rate 30 year mortgages (VA, FHA or RHS)
Maximum Purchase Price Limit
New or Existing Homes: $247,032
Maximum Income Limits
Families of 2 or less: $66,000
Families of 3 or more: $75,900
Eligibility Guidelines
* Homes must be located within the boundaries of the City of Houston and accrue property taxes to the City of Houston.
* Borrowers must meet the normal mortgage underwriting requirements with demonstrated creditworthiness.
* Borrower must occupy the purchased home as their principal residency.
* Borrowers must not have owned a home in the last three years unless property is located in a targeted area.
