The summer has absolutely flown by and now believe it or not it is time to think of school starting. The first day of class for all grades at Katy ISD is Monday August 23, 2010. Parents this year have the option to pre-enroll their children online. The district makes it clear that the pre-enrollment is just to speed up the paperwork and cut down on errors and is not a substitute for regular enrollment.  A parent has to still enroll their child at the actual campus the child will attend during the August 2010 registration dates.

Registration dtaes for students new to the KISD start in August 2010 and are as follows:

Secondary Students: 8/10-12, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with last names from A-L; and 1:00PM to 3:00 PM for last names from M-Z: 8/13 from 9:00AM to 11AM only: and 8/17 from 1:00PMto 3:00 PM only.

Elementary Students: 8/10,8/12,8/13 from 9:00 AM to 11am for last names from A-l and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM last names from M-Z; and 8/17 from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM only.

Pre-Kindergarten: 8/11 from 8:00 AM to 12:00PM.

Katy ISD preseason football at least for Seven Lakes Spartans and most likely the other schools starts August 9, 2010.
