Time is runnig out for the $8000 tax credit. The last day to close on a home and get this credit is Dec. 1st of this year. While Congress is considering extending this tax credit, there are not guarantees. So, if you or someone you know has not owned a home for 3 years, ACT NOW. In order to close by Nov. 30th, you really need to have an agreeded upon contract by Oct. 15th at the latest.
