Cy Fair Home and Garden Show :: Berry Center: Saturday February 25, 9 am – 7 pm & Sunday February 26, 10 am – 6 pm. Want to turn your home into the ultimate getaway? Then mark the upcoming Fifth Annual Cy-Fair Home and Garden Show on your calendar. The show will feature an exciting lineup of industry-expert speakers and more than 200 vendors, all showcasing new products and the latest ideas to spruce up your home’s indoor and outdoor spaces.
HFAC presents Seussical :: Berry Center: Performs February 24 – March 11, 2012 in the Berry Center Theater. In this fun family musical, Horton tries to protect the inhabitants of Whoville who live on a speck of dust. The large cast includes many characters from the Dr. Seuss books, including the Cat in the Hat, Horton, Gertrude, Mayzie, The Sour Kangaroo, The Wickersham Brothers, Yertle the Turtle, The Grinch, and of course the Whos down in Whoville. Join us for a fun romp through a child’s imagination! World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest :: Reliant Park: From: February 23, 2012 – February 25, 2012 (Recurring daily) The World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest is three days of cooking, competition, eating and dancing. The sweet aroma drifts over the Houston metropolis, drawing crowds like bees to honey. Trophies are awarded to teams preparing the best dish in each category (brisket, chicken, pork and spare ribs) as well as an overall winner.
Professional Bull Rider’s Built Ford Tough Series :: Reliant Park: Buckle Up, The PBR Built Ford Tough Series is non-stop, adrenaline-fueled action featuring the Top 40 bull riders on the planet taking on the fiercest bucking bulls in the world in the Toughest 8 Seconds in Sports.
The Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series consists of regular-season events and the World Finals in Las Vegas.
Riders earn points at each Built Ford Tough Series event based on three things: their ride scores, their finish in each round, and for their overall finish in the event. The first-place finisher in a round receives 100 bonus points. Riders placing second through 10th receive points on a graduated scale down to 10.
ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run :: Grab your running shoes and mark your calendar for the 25th annual ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run! This 10K and 5K event that attracts over 15,000 participants and raises money for Texas youth through the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Educational Fun.
