The Houston Heights continues to buck current real estate trends by not losing ground on the number of homes sold year-to-date compared to last year.  While this negative trend is the plight of many neighborhoods in Houston and the nation, it is not ours.  Not only have sales remained steady year-to-date, prices have remained strong, even increasing slightly on a sales price per square foot (SP/SF) level.

Even our upper end properties, those listed above $750,000 have remained strong.  Year-to-date we have had 15 sales in this price range, slightly less than last year's 18 sales, however, the SP/SF has increased significantly from $217.63 in 2009 to $230.56 this  year.
