Visit Dewberry Farm:   Family Fun and a Tradition to Many!

Looking for some family friendly fun during the Fall season?  Be sure to make the trek out to Dewberry Farm to experience a little bit of country, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.   Once you go, you will be back for years to come. 

Dewberry Farm is  located in Brookshire, Texas slightly northwest of Katy.  Their gates will swing open each weekend from September 25- November 23, 2010.  Grab your kids, your sunscreen, and of course your camera, and get ready to have some fun!    

Dewberry Farm offers non-stop activities for children of all ages.  Your kids will have you running around from activity to activity, having the time of their life.  There is a 4 acre corn maze that can’t be missed.  Farm wagon rides, zip lines, a huge pumpkin patch, the barnyard, even pig races are sure to bring smiles to your children’s faces.  With so much to see and do, kids of all ages have plenty of room and activities to fill up an entire day’s worth of amusement. 

Tips:

1. If your kids aren’t accustomed to walking for long periods of time, bring your stroller or wagon.
2. Purchase your tickets in advance so that you can avoid the long lines at the entrance.  Bring Cash.
3. Be sure that everyone is dressed in comfy clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
4. Visit their website for more information.  Be sure to sign up for their newsletter since they send out various promotions throughout the season.

Visiting Dewberry Farm is one of my favorite ways to spend time with the family.  Even though you will be exhausted by the end of the day, it’s so worth it!  You are in for a real treat.
