Spruce Up Those Beds!

March 21st, 2012

Is it time for some new mulch in your flower beds? Mulch will help retain moisture and protect against erosion in your flower beds and around trees. It also helps plants maintain an even temperature as well as reducing maintenance by restricting weed growth. Adding new mulch to your beds gives the yard a neat and well maintained appearance.

There are many types of mulch to choose from. Consult the local garden center or home improvement store to decide which mulch is best for your application. If you have a bigger yard with many areas to cover, then you might consider having mulch delivered or having a local landscaping company do it for you.

Curb appeal makes a difference whether you are selling your home or just pulling in the driveway multiple times a day. A well maintained yard is a pleasant sight and welcomes you home.
