Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries too?

Did you ever pick wild berries as a child? I have some memories of climbing around blackberry bushes picking away (getting scratched up too) and coming home with some sweet and delicious treats! Some friends went to a local farm and did some strawberry picking last week and I thought "what a great activity for a family outing!"
I did a little searching around the area and found a few places where you can go pick your own! A few of them might be a little bit of a drive but with the weather turning warmer, it makes for a perfect weekend outing.
The seasons vary depending on the fruit...be sure to call or check their websites before you head out so you know they're open, are ready for picking, directions, operation hours and any other information you might need.
Happy Pickin'!
