Today is the first day of school for Katy and most of the Houston, Texas area. New classes, teachers and schedules to get accustomed to as the 2012-2013 school year begins. Each year I have snapped a photo of the "first day of school" before the kids head out the door. It's an exciting day for most kids and a milestone as they get older. Now with Facebook, I also get to enjoy seeing my friends posting first day of school photos of their kids. It really has become a tradition for us and something special as the kids and their friends grow up. I hope everyone has a great first day of school and an awesome school year!
