Katy is about to welcome its newest independently owned dining experience, Chef Jose Hernandez’ French-based restaurant La Balance, opening this Thursday, August 15th.

Nestled in an unassuming space in Plaza on the Park near Westheimer and S. Fry Road, visitors to La Balance can expect Hernandez to deliver “good, fresh food that’s well-executed but never fussy or fancy”. With Hernandez’ experience from Orsay in New York City and Bistro Moderne and Triniti in Houston, I think we can all expect some deliciously satisfying meals in our near future. The combination of a convenient location, an independent owner/operator, and a delicious looking menu make this a must try.
