Festival of Lights
November 14, 2015 – January 10, 2016
Galveston’s Moody Gardens is transformed for the Holidays with millions of lights and animated displays. The event features Santa Claus, Ice Sculptures, Train Rides, Ice Skating & Slide, and more!
Zoo Lights
November 20, 2015 – January 9, 2016
How fun to see the zoo all decorated in lights for the holidays! Lights go on in the evening and with over 2 million lights, there are lots to see, including a walk-in snow globe.
Discovery Green Holiday Events
November 24, 2015 – February 7, 2016
We fell in love with this great park in Downtown Houston this summer and was excited to see all the fun things they host for the Holidays. See the park light up each evening with Field of Light. Ice Skating begins on November 24 and don’t miss Skating with Santa.
A Christmas Carol

This classic tale comes to life and is suitable for all audiences (5+ and up).
The Nutcracker
November 27 – December 27, 2015
No Holiday Season is complete with out seeing a performance of The Nutcracker. The Houston Ballet presents this wonderful story.

The annual holiday street festival, based on 19th-century Victorian London, features parades, non-stop entertainment on six stages, strolling carolers, roving musicians, bagpipers, jugglers and a host of other entertainers. Costumed vendors peddle their wares from street stalls and rolling carts laden with holiday food and drink, Victorian-inspired crafts, clothing, jewelry, holiday decorations and gift items.

Christmas in the Park
December 5 – 31, 2015
Celebrate a Christmas just like the first settlers in Texas did with a decorated Victorian house, hay ride, wassail and gingerbread. Also, check out the Campfire Christmas, an 1862 Confederate Fundraiser Ball.
Tomball German Christmas Market
