You have completed the first step in the process.  

A.  Find your REALTOR - I'm so happy you have chosen me!  :  )

          1.  Get pre-approved from a lender

          2.  Search for a home and determine the area you want to live.

                   a. Drive neighborhood

                   b. Drive gas stations

                   c. Drive Grocery stores, Malls, Target/WalMart etc.

B. Once you find a home

          1. Make an offer

          2. Once accepted 

                   a. Write a check for Option Fee 

                   b. Write a check for Earnest Money 

          3. Schedule a Home Inspection

          4. Schedule any other Inspections [HVAC, Termite, etc.]

C.  Negotiate any repairs needed [if not normal maintenance]

D.  Once all negotiations are completed, and then get with Lender to order an appraisal.

E.  Once Appraisal is completed - Negotiate as needed

F.  Begin packing - order boxes

G.  Finalize all documents Lender needs

H.  Schedule Utilities to be turned on

I.  Schedule Moving van

J.  Schedule a “Walk through” of the home prior to closing.

K.  Schedule Closing with Title Company

L.  Bring ID [Texas Drivers License], Check and spouse.

M.  Once Closing & Funding occurs, get keys and begin move in

N. You may need to take your HUD1 statement to the City and Post Office depending on your area for services to be changed over.

O.  Start making new and wonderful memories in you new home!  :)
