HOUSTON (Houston Chronicle) – Lone Star College-Montgomery has opened its $26.7 million expansion project at its 3200 College Park Dr. campus near The Woodlands.
The project included three buildings totaling 155,000 sf.
The first is a two-story, 75,000-sf general academic center with classrooms, computer and languages labs, faculty offices, a 100-seat tiered lecture hall and student lounge.
The second, a 20,000-sf building, will serve as a music hall with classrooms, rehearsal space and a 175-seat performance hall.
The last addition is a 60,000-sf health science center with 30 classrooms, faculty offices and specialized science labs.
Satterfield & Pontikes Construction served as general contractor while PBK Architects led the design team. Jones Lange LaSalle was the project manager.
