“Order for a Healthy and Productive Lifestyle”

As I exhale after working 28+ years in Public Service, I have been meditating and concentrating on my “Order for a Healthy and Productive Lifestyle” My focus on my Real Estate business has been rewarding and being a product of the Baby Boomers Generation, one of the largest living generations today, I am at the point where Order is very important.  I don’t consider myself a “Senior Citizen”, but yet an “Active Adult” and I have many things that I still want to accomplish, therefore I need order to get them done.  After all, our age 55 is the new 40, right?  Yes, and with Order in our lives we are looking younger and living longer healthier lives. 

So, with that said I am arranging myself and my surroundings to achieve greater health and efficiency in my business life.  I recognize that there is a time and place for everything, and I want do everything in its time and place so that I can accomplish more. 

Being a full time Realtor, requires having priorities and a plan in place while staying abreast of the latest in marketing trends and technology.  I really enjoy learning about the technological trends and implementing them in my daily life and well as helping my clients get the most out of their Real Estate transation.  With Order in my life, I am without feeling hurried and denying myself leisure time.  If you are like me, over the age of 50, online Social Media can be overwhelming, but it’s really a necessary tool in today’s market.  If you feel you are “too busy” to develop a plan, you probably really need it.  When you feel overwhelmed by jumbled thoughts and feelings, write them down, sort them out, and work through them.  I have started keeping a journal at my bedside and as thoughts run through my mind, I write them down while they are fresh on my mind.

This is my first “Blog” and I am including one of Five Keys to having Order in our life as we work towards a Healthy and Productive Lifestyle:

1.      Set Daily Priorities - Personal: - Have a Daily Quite Time; Good Diet and Exercise 2-3 days a week at least 30 minutes a day.  If you are Blessed to have family around you daily, spend some quality time with them and let them know how much you love them. They are part of your fuel to keep going!

Set Daily Priorities - Business: Know what matters most so that you can focus your effort where it can bring the most benefit. A daily “To Do List” is quite helpful. Delegate when necessary.  If you chose to use online tools, set yourself a time slot 2-3 days a week, 1-2 hours at a time and do your Blogging, FB, Twitter and whatever other online tool you use.  Be responsible and implement your plan.
