Aliens have landed

April 6th, 2016

Aliens appear to have arrived in Houston ...

This shot was taken from the Houston Club last Friday night. It was the night before the semi-finals of the Final Four of the NCAA (college basketball), the Shell Open (professional golf) was at its halfway point and we were a couple of days ahead of the start of the US Men's Clay Court Champoinship (professional tennis).

The confluence of all these major national events this week proves just how important Houston is on the sporting map in the US. It was a great showcase for the 4th largest city in the US and we were blessed with, and continue to enjoy, glorious weather throughout.

All those new visitors (and aliens) will return home to their chillier and less sunny homelands in the belief that Houston is always this green, glorious and gregarious. The fact of the matter is, it is. It's just the addition of a couple of h's that they might not know about - heat and humidity.

Expect another alien invasion for the Super Bowl in February 2017!

Here's a bit about me: As a realtor,
I offer my clients patient, loyal and informed representation throughout all stages of the
buying and selling process. I am available throughout all of Houston, with particular emphasis
on inside the loop but also to the west and south of the Energy corridor, Katy and other high-growth areas. I bring over two decades of
business experience, through which I have honed my negotiation and inter-personal skills. Feel free
to reach out to me with any possible inquiries

This is a humorous, light-hearted and personal look at living in Houston, Texas from the point of view of an Englishman living and working here. It will hopefully throw some light on the differences in things between here and in particular the UK.
