Kye Sampson is highly-seasoned real estate professional with Intero Real Estate Services, dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized service for all of her clients. She takes great pride in the relationships she builds and always works relentlessly on her client’s behalf to help them achieve their real estate goals. She recently joined us on a build day in Houston, Texas, and we asked her to tell us a little bit about her experience. Read about her build day below!

I’ve worked on a few rebuild projects previously so I was somewhat familiar with the process. However, Giveback Homes really gives you the opportunity to get down and dirty and actually help with the building process. Most importantly, we were working on someone’s home so a lot of passion and effort went into the project, as if it were my own home.

During the build I helped with framing, drilled, lifted wood, measured and sawed. Whatever was needed I was there to help. Nothing was really too hard. The best part of the day, was getting to meet a family who came out to put in hours of building on their own home. It was extremely rewarding to see the families moving in and what an impact this project makes on their lives. It makes it real, made me feel like I could build a billion houses that day. (ha ha!)

I’d 1000% participate with Giveback Homes again, and will continue to donate time, money and efforts towards the program that helps so many. We can’t change the world, but collectively we can all do our part, brick by brick. :-)

What do you love the most about Houston real estate?

I love the diversity of Houston Real Estate. Houston is a great place to live, so many different people, cultures and the Real Estate Market here reflects just that. Houston is THE City!

What's your favorite local spot?

My favorite local spot is Davis St. at Herman Park, owned by Chef Javani King. I support his business because he does so many great things in the community and the food is amazing, southern cuisine at it’s finest!

What’s the proudest moment in your career so far?

The proudest moment in my career is filming with HGTV, such an exciting time. I love the network and have watched for so many years. Getting that opportunity was definitely a career highlight! I hope to have my own show on the network one day soon. (Dream come true)

What is your best tip for new agents?

My best tip for new agents is to wake up everyday, get dressed, get off your a** and hustle. Meet everyone, talk to everyone!  Let them know exactly what you do and how you can help them buy or sell their home. Don’t be a secret agent, don’t be afraid to talk, they are just people and won’t bite. :-)

How do you hope to impact communities through joining Giveback Homes?

I hope to impact communities in a major way so that people won’t feel forgotten but will know that there are still people in this world rooting and cheering for them, encouraging them not to give up on the American Dream. Hoping that this giving spirit will become contagious in the Real Estate community and will carry on for a lifetime.
