With the arrival of spring also comes The Woodlands Township’s annual Concert-in-the-Park series, presented by Munday Chevrolet. The spring concert series runs every Sunday evening between March 6, 2011, and April 17, 2011, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive.

The spring schedule is as follows:

March 6, 2011: Gary-Michael Dahl (Jazz)
March 13, 2011: Toast and Jam (80s/90s Variety)
March 20, 2011: Level One Band (Motown Review)
March 27, 2011: Nigel Edison Band (Country)
April 3, 2011: Fidelity Maxx (70s/80s Old School Funk)
April 10, 2011: Dena Blue and the Army Men (Rock)
April 17, 2011: Patricia Vonne (Spanish Roots Rock)

Concerts are also held in the summer and fall. A special summer concert will be held on July 4, 2011, from 7 to 9 p.m. Fall concerts will be held on Sundays from September 11, 2011, through October 23, 2011, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Bring a blanket, picnic dinner and lawn chairs to enjoy leisure time with your family! Northshore Park offers plenty of lawn space for tossing balls and Frisbees®, a large playground, two sand volleyball courts and pathways. All bands are family-friendly.
