We also work with and around a lot of investors including out country investors that are sending in lot of money in the Houston market to buy real estate.  When there is a lot of money flow, it brings out the scammers.  I witnessed that in the real estate market in Florida, greed from all sides of the real estate transaction and it scammed a lot of consumers.  There were a lot sharks with VCR tapes, cassettes, signs and living on yachts making money in real estate.

So, if you are looking to buy or sell real estate, use a REALTOR or at least look for the REALTOR logo in the ads for home buying or selling services.
