2016 Rebekah Snipp Scholarship
Scholarship eligibility requirements and recipient information:
High school seniors attending Magnolia, Magnolia West, The Woodlands, College Park, Oak Ridge, Atascocita, Humble, Summer Creek, Quest, Kingwood, and Kings Park High Schools with a grade point average (G.P.A.) of 3.75, or better, on a 4.0 scale, acceptance to an accredited two year Junior college or four year university, who have participated in at least one extra curricular school sponsored activity are encouraged to apply. Letters of recommendation from a teacher, coach and principal should be provided, and a one page essay describing how the student’s pursuit of a college degree will be enhanced through the experiences attained during their quest to complete high school. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is April 15, 2016. All applications satisfying the above criteria will be considered, and three (3) candidates will be chosen as the recipient for this one time, $1,000.00 reimbursement for paid books, living expenses, tuition or fees experienced by the student within their freshman year*.
