No, I am not a native Houstonian, but as they say: "I got here as quick as I could!".  And I couldn't be happier!

 

Houston has a culture that is rich and engaging and so very diverse that after all my years here, I have yet to be bored! One of my most memorable days, started with me sitting on a fence in my dusty boots and jeans at sunrise, watching young cowboys prepare for the rides of their lives on the back of spirited bucking bulls. The day ended with an evening at the symphony followed by a fine dining experience I still dream about. 

Young people are transferring here from across the country and across the world to further their careers at one of the many international companies headquartered here. Others are choosing to relocate to Houston to retire for the active lifestyle and fabulous weather.  Whether native Houstonian or new arrival, you will discover an ever-evolving night life that is dynamic, a culinary scene that will rival the most cosmopolitan cities on the globe, unbeatable shopping, fabulous schools, the highest ranking hospitals and medical research centers ...and a cost of living that makes Houston one of the countries best values for buying, selling and investing in real estate!
