The above graph depicts the market activity for Single Family homes sold for the city of Bellaire for the last 13 months.

For the month of July 2013, there were 37 sales with an average price per square foot of $242, and an average Days On Market of 63 days with 4 expired listings. The average Linear Sold Price/Sq Ft shows that the average price per square foot (dotted line) is increasing from from July 2012.

Bellaire's current's months of inventory is 2.5 months up from 2.1 months last month. This number reflects the number of months it will take to deplete the current active inventory based on the prior 12 months of sales activity. Therefore, our last current month's of inventory shows that our market has slowed down a little bit last month.

In the previous 12 months, 318 single-family homes were sold with an average price of $790,628. Currently, there are 65 active homes for sale with an average listed price of $966,138.

The city of Bellaire includes more than 6700 homes that were built on the 50's and 60's. Most of them today continue to be demolished to build larger, new construction luxury homes.
