5 TIPS FOR WRITING GREAT REAL ESTATE SOCIAL MEDIA BIOS

August 8th, 2021

Social Media Bios are very important. Not is it only your social media feed that gives the first impression when someone goes into your profile but the social media bio is the first thing your potential customers see and read before they even scroll down to your feed. In this blog were going to go over the 5 most important components of your social media bio and how you can optimize it so that you can attract more leads into your business.

First, I would like to explain the reasons why you need to have a SOLID social media bio, keep in mind that the first impression matters! You need to give people a reason why they should follow you, they need to figure out quick whether your account is a perfect fit for them or whether or not you have the solution to their problems. After all, someone is not going to spend a whole day looking at your feed to determine whether or not they like your content or whether or not they would like to follow you. That is why, right from the beginning, having a very clear social media bio will help that persons decision on whether or not your account is perfect for them. Keep in mind that having a clear and captivating social media bio has the potential to get you paying clients as well.

Here are the most important components of writing a social media bio:

#1 Name Section

The first thing you need to know is that this portion within your bio is searchable. The name portion of your bio needs to be optimized, what I mean is that if you put your keywords within this section, if someone is searching for that keyword theyre is a potential that you will show up in their search results.

Examples:

Name - Listing Specialist

Name - REAL ESTATE AGENT

Name - Houston REALTOR

Name - Bridgeland REALTOR

Name - REALTOR

Name - Buyer Agent

Name- Listing Agent

Name - LISTING REALTOR

#2 Niche Statement

Your niche statement is meant to communicate who you help, how you help and the results you can provide to your clients. When working on your niche statement, you got to have a clear idea of who your target audience is. What can you do for them? Nail it to just one line but make sure to mention the results you give to them if they hire you as their Realtor.

Examples:

I help buyers find the best property at the best price and sellers sell their homes and net more at closing.

I help people buy or sell real estate maximizing real estate experience.

Perfect home finder or I dont sleep!

Top producing Realtor building lasting relationships through Real Estate

Ready to help you negotiate the house of your dreams

Helping buyers and sellers through my extensive negotiation experience

Ready to help you with your home buying and/or selling needs

Making homeowner dreams come true for my clients

Helping buyers, sellers, and business owners accomplish their Real Estate Goals

#3 Add an Intentional Detail

Adding a fun fact or an authority builder is of great benefit to your Social Media Bio. Suggest links to your websites or the rest of of your social media to attract them.

Examples:

1 Million Views on YT

Founder of COMPANY NAME

Bestselling Author

Top 5% Realtor in the Nation

CEO of COMPANY NAME

Always try to give your three content pillars, that way when they go into your account, theyll know exactly what type of content youll be sharing.

Examples:

REALTOR-Entrepreneur-Speaker

REALTOR-Wife-Mother of 3

REALTOR-Marketing-Negotiations

Pricing-Marketing-Negotiations Expert

Commercial-Developments-Residential

Houston-Galveston-San Antonio

Houston-Cypress-Katy

#4 Call to Action

This is a very simple step but a lot of people fail to put a call to action in their Bio. Call to action is a piece of content intended to induce a viewer, reader, or listener to perform a specific act, typically taking the form of an instruction or direction. A huge mistake folks make is that they just add a link without taking in consideration that a lot of people are very cautious of clicking links they dont know. That is why, its very important to add a call to action context indicating where the link is taking them to and incentivize them.

Examples:

FREE RESOURCES

LEARN HOW Click Below

Want to discuss your NEXT move?

#5 Add Link(s)

When the social media allows you to add external links into your Bio, add a link to your website to drive traffic to your other sites or social media. Its only wise for you to capitalize your Bio and this way you will allow people to get to know you better.

Example:

ADD A LINK

I sure hope this information is helpful, go out and optimize your Social Media Bios! :-)
