Time to Replace?

February 19th, 2018

When it is time to update the air conditioner in your Houston/Galveston area home, is it better to upgrade to the highest seer rated unit? Well maybe not. There can be thousands of dollars difference in the cost of a unit that has the highest energy efficiency rating and one that will last just as long, but is not rated as high. Multiple that difference in cost by the number of units in your home and the price difference can be significant. What if you bought a lower but adequately rated unit and used the savings to replace old windows or maybe used it to apply radiant barrier paint and ridge vents to your attic? Do you see where I am going with this? Call or text me before you do any remodeling and I bet I can help you come up with some more efficient ideas. You know what they say. Two heads are better than one.
