For Part 6 of my 2014 bike tour of Houston with Andrew Groocock of the Professional Tour Guide Association, we check out Mel Chin’s visually stunning “Seven Wonders”, a mesmorizing work of art made up of seven 70 foot tall pillars each consisting of 150 panels showcasing children’s drawings etched in stainless steel plates. Andrew also explains how, interesting enough, Sesquicentennial Park was actually designed to flood.
In Part 7, we'll head over to the George H.W. Bush monument and Andrew will share some Buffalo Bayou history with us.
