Fishing in Master Planned communities!

Just a thought for our city planners and master community builders!

What if all Master planned communities had large lakes with actual fish that encouraged families to fish on weekends! Families would not have to shop at HEB / Wal-Mart or any other retailer to buy their fish.

All they would have to do is spend a yearly $50 for fishing license plus another $50 for supplies. The Master planned communities association staff would be responsible for re-stocking fish weekly.

It would be quite a boost to the fishing industry - growing farm raised fish (without steroids or other hormones) and also provide jobs to so many people.

It would provide a lot of entertainment to kids who love to make this a hobby or a regular pastime to bond with their dads / moms.

It would also make selling master planned communities more fun, based on how popular certain lakes are in certain communities.

How about stocking with Bass, Trout, Catfish and good river fish that is great on the frying pan!

Who pays for it? Good question! Your HOA dues is portioned for this expense. Of course there are weekly limits imposed per family based on number of people per family, etc. We'll let the big wigs figure that one out.

Yum!
