Rayford and Riley Fuzzell - Next

February 14th, 2012

There's something about owning your own dirt that inspires a sense of making your mark on this world.  Whether it is the small patch of grass in the backyard of your patio home or the sea of acreage that goes on and on, rolling out into the horizon - The infamous line in "Gone with the Wind" says it best  "Land is the one thing worth living for, worth dying for."  What is it about land that strikes such an intense chord in our souls. To some people it is "greed."   We all played "Monopoly," right?   However, to consumers I I truly believe it goes deeper than that.  Land...there's only so much of it.  We can still discover oil. We can still work together for clean air.  We get rain. We grow crops. There's just only so much land.  It's a sacred asset that is often times passed down from generation to generation.  Alas, the law of Supply and Demand come knocking and the opportunity for profit appears and transactions are consumated and the way of progress is cleared and made ready for the next village.  With increasing growth comes progress and a decreasing supply of this available "land."   That is why the buzz of growth along Rayford Road and Riley Fuzzell has been such an extreme phenomenon.  I have had clients from California and other parts of the country (and the world), not even set foot on Houston soil, but know they will be buying in The Woodlands or along Rayford/Road and Riley Fuzzell. Even in the midst of a recession, new buildings, new roads, new stores, new schools and  new communities have been built and the rest of the world knows about it thanks to the internet!  So it's no longer a secret folks - The Rayford Road/Riley Fuzzell Corridor is being groomed to be  Houston's next "Hot Spot".  The ugly duckling is almost out of adolescence, let's all watch for the emergence of the beautiful "swan".
