Well it's finally happening - Lake Conroe is finally starting to gain momentum on the low water level since the dreaded drought. According to the San Jacinto River Authority website, the lake is only about 2' below normal level, which means some of the waterfront homes should be losing a little of the beach area behind their homes. We seem to be having a bit of more "normal" rainy season so far this fall, and we should see the lake level continue to rise through the winter months. Good news overall for those who would love to put their boats in the water next spring - not to mention the bring up the property values of the waterfront homes. Yeah!
