Thinking of listing your home?  Wondering what you can do to prepare?  Wondering what differentiates Realtors?  Well, make sure you discuss the value of having your home staged with your listing agent.  Staged homes sell quicker...bottom line.  When you are viewing homes for sale, do you gravitate towards the cluttered homes with full closets and toys all over the family room...or do you gravitate towards the home that looks like a model home, as if it's not lived in?  Which one makes you stand back and say, "ooooohhhh, aaaaahhhhh?"   Staging a home is worth the money...and most listing agents will agree to pay for it.  Home stagers typically charge per hour and most consultations will only take one hour.

So, when meeting with your listing agent, make sure you ask if he/she has a staging program in his/her marketing toolbox!
