June 2-3: Explore AAPI stories at the library
The Houston Public Library is showcasing an exhibit that documents the history, lives and contributions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community in Greater Houston. The “Our Vibrant AAPI Community” exhibit offers a panoramic view of Asian immigrants and their descendants.

June 3: Shop local vendors in Montgomery
The first Saturday of every month, the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a market for vendors to come out and sell their homemade products to the public.
June 3: Support young entrepreneurs
The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Kid-Preneur Day by hosting a fair for kids who own a business. The event will give kids the opportunity to enter a competition by decorating a stand with their business and selling to the public. The event will consist of two age groups: 12 and under, and 13-18.
June 3: Attend an anime convention
The KimoKawaaii Anime Experience and Convention will return to Conroe for its second annual Anime Experience event. The event will include cosplay contests, voice-over sessions, panels, artists and voice actors.

June 3: Browse a local market
The Loblolly Market will welcome local vendors and artisans for its June market. The first 25 customers will receive a swag bag.
June 3: Attend an open house
The MakerBarn will host an open house for its seventh anniversary, at which attendees will be able to watch demonstrations, tour the facility and enjoy refreshments.
June 3: Give back by giving blood
Brew:30 Taphouse will host a blood drive with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. Live music by Jawad will follow at 6:30 p.m.
June 3: View summer art exhibits
To unveil its summer exhibitions, the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts will host a free family day, during which attendees can enjoy art activities, a new Lego brick creation and art cars along with having the chance to meet artist Beth Brubaker.

June 3-4: See a horse show
The Great Southwest Equestrian Center will soon host a classic horse show. Four competition rings will run simultaneously. Breeds shown include American saddlebreds, American quarter horses, Arabians, miniature horses and Paso Finos.

June 4: Listen to a concert at Margaritaville
“The Voice” contestant Gracee Shriver will be performing at Margaritaville as part of a summer night concerts series at the resort. According to Total PR, Shriver’s latest song has made it to the Women of Country playlist on Spotify. Drinks will be available for purchase.

June 4: Participate in a doggie social
Little Woodrow’s is welcoming dogs of all kinds to its dog social, which will feature splash pads, an off-leash area and treats.
June 4: Pride Market at Karbach Brewing Co.
Head to Karbach Brewing Co. for an all-day Pride market and beer garden party. Guests can shop from over 25 vendors within Houston's queer community. There will be music from DJ Athenz as well as live performances, food trucks and giveaways.
June 4: Enjoy coffee and cars at Market Street
The Woodlands Car Club is hosting the annual charity car display at Market Street. The event brings together car enthusiasts and collects donations from visitors to donate toward local charities and causes in Montgomery County.
