I don't know about you but with all the mixed market data we are all bombarded with  between watching the national news, local news and media in general, it's hard to decipher WHAT the housing market is doing!

Well, here's the " skinny" on OUR market in Houston once and for all....

According to Wayne Stroman, HAR chairman of the board, we are officially in a sellers’ market, with inventory levels lower than we've seen in 10 years. In short, buyers are out there gobbling up inventory faster than the builders can get new inventory on the ground!

But fears not buyers, interest rates remain at ridiculously low levels and banks have started to relinquish their hold on the purse strings! Furthermore, builders are once again buying up empty lots and building new homes to accommodate the needs of buyers.
