Nicole Calderon, Realtor with Sudhoff Companies spent many years in Europe and Canada, until 1992 when she relocated to Houston to be closer to her family. Her family had previously moved here due to her father's career. She also speaks several languages, including Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and English.

Having spent most of her childhood and early adult years living abroad, Calderon understands and enjoys working with other cultures. She also understands the challenges of acclimating to a new home in a new environment, and she is well-versed in making that transition a seamless and enjoyable time.

Calderon's 14-year real estate career has been diverse. Today, Calderon works with numerous developers on various projects, from conception to sell-out. She also works with buyers and sellers on other types of properties on a limited basis.

"I have two focus projects, two mid-rises, Mimosa Terrace in River Oaks and Mondrian at the Museums in the Museum District. Both lock-and-leave mid-rises offer luxury condominium to accommodate the growing trend and demand for these properties in core areas of Houston. I sincerely enjoying showing these properties to possible residents and working with the developers and builders," Calderon said.

Calderon lives in the Inner Loop and thoroughly enjoys all the area offers.

"There is so much to do, from the outdoor spaces great for exercising like the hike-and-bike trails, great restaurants and shopping, excellent medical facilities, the arts, and the very diverse demographics from different cultures to the age groups. This area has everything anyone could want," Calderon said.

Prior to real estate, Calderon worked in finance and advertising for a magazine.

"These two positions are very different from one another. However, the skills I honed in each of these transitioned easily into real estate and benefit my clients. For example, I can assist my clients in understanding the financial portions of a transaction to advertising properties for greater results," Calderon said.

These skills are in addition to those she is known for, such as being detail oriented, a friendly people person, disciplined, flexible, available, and a hard-worker. Plus, Calderon does not stop working just because the clock strikes 5.

Most of all, she loves what she does, and does not consider her job work - it is a true pleasure.
