Going in to 2016 it is still a sellers market in the entire Bay Area. There is still less inventory and prices are holding strong.
The chart above shows some stats year over year from December 2014 to December 2015.
Homes are still selling fast, but less inventory means higher prices. It is simple supply and demand!
I listed a small starter home in Deer Park this month and within 24 hours I had 5 offers and eventually settled over list price by $5500. My seller only bought this home 2 years ago and already had made over $25k in equity
