For those of you that own your business and do your own social media marketing this excerpt from the January edition of Texas Realtor Magazine is for you.
Studies indicate that a 150 online relationships is the max that an individual can successfully manage. Your objective should be to find 150 or fewer "friends" who are most likely to do business with you or refer business to you and interact with them at least once a month. This does not mean hit the "like" button and run. Find posts where you can congratulate them, share a resource, or otherwise engage them. You will have no trouble staying in regular contact with the most valuable members of your database if you can spend about 15-20 minutes per day to post on 5-10 of your Facebook friend's accounts.
