Sunday is the time for Open Houses and Football.
Ok, maybe not in that order but usually there is enough time to look at homes after the ball game.
Folks who come through open houses have some expectations before they even leave their house. If the open house doesn't meet all of their needs then at least they can receive some valuable information about the subdivision or other homes that may be available close by.
Sometimes folks are looking in a certain area because they like the homes in that area or because of the quality of schools or other important aspects of the location.
As an agent I try to be as informative as possible for folks who come through the open house. Yes I'm trying to gain as much exposure as possible for the home but I'm also trying to educate potential buyers about what to expect from homes like the one they are touring and the surrounding neighborhood.
If anything I want potential buyers to have an opportunity to get a feel for the home and what to expect to see with what is available on the market.
I'll always send a follow up email to anyone who cares for more details about the open house and surrounding available homes because the Houston MLS is valuable resource for folks who want more information.
So after the game come out and I'll see you at an Open House near you.
Until next time.
Good Home Hunting.
