Those nasty little plants that look so out of place in our lawns and flower beds.  Now is the time to apply a pre-emergent herbicide to our lawns in order to prevent crabgrass.  Products like Dimension, Pendimethlin, Amaze and Betasan can be found at your local garden store and applied now to prevent weeds later in the summer.  For Nutgrass use either Manage or Image, these are the only two products I am aware of that will work.
