Listing your home during the high season of the Real Estate market sounds good.  But, what about listing you home during the time of year when most home owners are not thinking about listing their homes.   Lessening your competition is good in all areas of life.   This is true when selling your home.  Buyers are out looking for homes 365 day out of the year.  Even on Christmas day.  Yes, I have shown homes and submitted offers on Christmas day.  Their is always a drop in inventory for resale homes during the Holidays and right after the first of the year.  This is always when my buyers tell me, "There just isn't anything out there."  New Construction can be an option.  But, most buyers cannot afford the cost of new construction.  Showing a resale home when its all done up for the Holiday Season shows buyers the real personality and Charm of a home.  This is a staging that is done in a way that really catches a buyers heart and feeling of warmth and sharing.   After all.  Isn't sharing your home in warm and familiar way the best way to show off your home.  All dressed up and ready for your guest to arrive.  That guest may prove to the buyer your home is looking for.  So, Think about listing your home when others are not listing their home.  The recipe for success is often in the ingredient that most would never thinking of adding to the Dish.
