Homes Sold
77 homes sold in the Washington Corridor in the month of August, 35 detached homes and 42 townhomes/condos. This is way up from last August, which only saw 48 total sales. 16 of the properties sold last month were new construction, which is slightly down from the 17 new construction sales posted in August 2010.
Active Listings
There are 456 properties currently on the market, 278 detached homes and 178 townhomes/condos. In August, 77 new listings came on the market and 101 sellers reduced the list price of their home.
Home Prices
Over the past 12 months, the median sales price has rose 2.7% to $293,435 from the same period last year. Townhouses/Condominiums median prices rose 3% to $274,000, and detached homes prices fell from $320,000 to $319,950 .
