Safety Tips for Wood Burning Fireplaces

Tip 1. Only burn dried cured wood, split and dried 8-12 Months
Tip 2. Burn Firewood and only firewood, other woods could release unwanted chemicals.
Tip 3. Close damper when not using your fireplace. Prevents warm indoor air from escape.
Tip 4. Have a chimney cap installed, keeps objects from falling in, allows smoke to escape.
Tip 5. Get your chimney cleaned.

Remember A cord is 4 feet high by 4 feet wide by 8 feet long, or the amount that would fill two full-size pickup trucks.

Have a nice warm winter.
