We are experiencing a great rental period already for the year 2013

 We are experiencing a flood of renters and they are snatching up our rentals fast.  We have a waiting list for openings of new rentals.  It is a Landlords market.
  Even apartment complexes are experiencing waiting lists for apartments coming on the market.

   Regarding housing resales....the market is great if you list it to sell.  Listen to your Realtors' advice and check with the agent for comparables selling recently in your neighborhood. 
   Caution!  do not over build or over remodel your home, thinking you will get more for your expenses.  Check with your Realtor on what homes are selling per square foot in your neighborhood.  Then figure up what you are asking per square foot on your home.  DO NOT go over that figure.  You will have a home that will stay on the market forever, while the neighbors around you are selling, closing, and moving on.  DO YOU want to be left behind?

  Remember is it has been on the market a while --- the owner should be open for offers...they may just have overpriced their diamond in the rough.
