Greatwood Is Loaded With Trees

Greatwood is a master planned neighborhood in the Sugar Land area located just off Highway 59 at the Grand Parkway and next to the Brazos River.  Most of the 4600 homes were built between 1989 and 2007 and feature both high-end production as well as custom homes.  Resale homes are currently going for $150,000 to over $600,000.

The forementioned Brazos River provides the wonderful scenery and mature trees in the area.  Other amenities include the public 18 hole Greatwood Golf Club that offers discounts to residence of the community.  In addition, several pools, parks, trails and more are scattered throughout Greatwood.

Dickenson Elementary is a highly ranked school located right in the community.  A future Lamar Consolidate School District high school is also in the works.  Already in place, restaurants, shopping, hospitals and just down Highway 59, the recently completed Sugar Land Town Square with upscale shopping and dinning.

If you’re looking for an area with a strong home owners association, mature Oaks, Magnolia and Pecan trees scattered among well manicured pubic areas along with a wide price range of homes to choose from, Greatwood is the place you should check out.
