Does it still have a warranty from the builder?  If it does, it's a good idea to have a home inspection before it expires.   Even new homes have some problems that you and the builder did not catch or things that came up during the first few months. Those repairs can often exceed the cost of an inspection. If you catch them prior to the expiration of the warranty, your warranty should cover them.
