Dear Bonnie,

Yes, you can. The question is " is it important how or who sells your house or you get the maximum dollars from the sale and minimize the pain of sale ?

If you want to maximize the dollar from the sell of your house, work with a professional. A realtor.

I can list your house and get it sold. Call me 832-283-1091

Hello Bonnie,

Yes absolutely you can do for sale by owner but do you know what it takes to sell the house? An experienced agent can help you with qualifying buyer, provide suggestion in home staging, get buyer pre-approved if needed and finally between listing and closing, an agent keeps everyone in loop by communicating constantly.

Now if you plan it properly as a project and of course you can do it all yourself.

Yes, statistically For sale by owner sell in more time and for less than if it were sold through an agent.
Often people who start marketing for sale by owner, end up with an agent.

Good afternoon,

I would strongly advise against selling or leasing a property FSBO, just as I would discourage a Buyer or Tenant to go into a transaction unrepresented. Your Property is your investment and you should have someone knowledgeable in real estate assisting you in the transaction, just as a purchaser is making a big investment and should also have someone knowledgeable assisting them in the transaction. As a Seller, you will have obligations that you need to fulfill in order to remain in compliance with a contract. Likewise, a Buyer has obligations in a contract that if not fulfilled could risk default of the contract.

There are a ton of articles discussing the disadvantages of FSBO that I'd be happy to share. It's not worth the risk.

YES, you can post your property in the MLS for a Flat Fee of about $150! Your property will be posted in the Local MLS system and that data automatically downloads into other Realty websites including Realtor.com, Zillow etc. The MLS guidelines prohibits private information from being posted on their website. However, if a Buyer is interested in your property, the Buyer will contact their Realtor so the Realtor can use their password to look up your private contact information. The ultimate goal is to have Realtors help bring you a qualified Buyer.

Hi Bonnie,

You can do a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) if you are not an agent or broker. You can work independent by putting out a sign and doing your own marketing or you can work with a FSBO company like FSBO.com. If you work independent, you will not be able to list your home in the MLS. If you work with a FSBO company, they can for a price.

You can also work with an agent and may want to talk to one about why you feel FSBO is how you want to proceed. I understand the reasons many people want the FSBO route, but soon realize there is much more work involved. There are options for you that may help with any issues you may have about working with an agent.

I would be happy to discuss your situation with you and provide you with a free Comparative Market Analysis (CMA). There is no obligation and if you decide to go the FSBO route, you are free to do so. A Real Estate professional does provide value.

I hope you will give me a call.
