Real Estate Taken to New Heights!
Here's whats new in Houston for June:

Summertime Fun in the Sun
It's summertime again in our great city and with it comes tons of fun things to do! The Thursday night free concerts in the park at Discovery Green have started up again and will run until June 24th so make sure you catch it. There is a Family Hurricane Preparedness Workshop at the George R. Brown on June 19th from 10 am to 3 pm that is free for the family. Menopause the Musical is now playing at the Hobby Center for Performing Arts from June 15th till June 27th. The Dinosaurs exhibit is now open at the Houston Zoo and if you haven't been in awhile...nows the time to visit. The zoo has made a lot of improvements over the years and it is truly a special place. Don't miss the Donuts and Dinos event on June 26th from 8:30 am to 10:30 am and have breakfast with the dinosaurs! Cirque du Soleil's Alegria is playing in Cypress (NW Houston) from June 16 to June 20 and there are still good seats left. There's tons more to do around town so get outdoors and enjoy this sunny weather.
Hurricane Season is Here...Are You Prepared?
In the last few years we've all seen some pretty large storms hit the gulf coast and the weather community is already predicting an active 2010 hurricane season due to the unusually warm temperatures of the waters. June 1st was the start of this year's Hurricane Season so I thought I'd take a few minutes to talk about the importance of being prepared for it, how to go about doing that, and some things going on around town to help you prepare. Don't get caught without needed supplies if a Hurricane does decide to target our great city this year. Read more.
